Fleece I want to get a fleece forest. What is the grid that you can buy with it?

The page with the fleece forest shows that you can buy a top grid. My cage is a c&c with a top. Is the grid just like the top or side of a c&c cage?

do I need the grid top?

Since you already have a top, you could just cut strips of fleece and tie them to the top to make the fleece forest.
