Brand new here and to owning guinea pigs. I just got two boars for my birthday. I come from a house of dogs, and have never had a small pet because my mother wouldn't allow it. My husband thought I'd love some pigs, so here I am with two pigs and doing all the reading in the world about them. I have already learned that I need to increase their cage size (I have purchased a sizable play pen cage for them for floor time while I figure out where we can put a C&C. We were unfortunately mislead by store associates who said the You & Me cage we bought would be large enough.) I have set up a feeding schedule based on what I read here, as well. Since I've already found the forum so helpful, I thought I'd join and introduce my pigs.
Floki is on the left and Ragnar on the right. I already adore them to pieces. I look forward to learning more about how to care for my little dudes the right way.
