I was just curious if it's possible for a guinea pig to be cross bred with two types of pigs? perhaps an American and Silkie? One of my pigs has the shorthair but has smooth/ soft hair. My other GP has course hair, yet he is also an American. The reason I'm asking is because my husband has reactions to holding the softer GP but not the other. He gets rashes on his arms when he holds him. He also get sneezing attacks and gets red itchy eyes even after cleaning the cage and switching the hay multiple times.

If your husband is allergic why don't you get a skinny pig, a Guinea pig with no hair.

Your husband is far more likely to be allergic to the hay than to the cavies. Many people are highly allergic to timothy hay and that is compounded by the hay spores getting trapped in the cavies' fur and then them being held close to us.

Try switching to orchard grass or bluegrass hay as an alternative. If you do switch, you need to change and thoroughly clean the cage, plus bathe the piggies.

I have tried them all, and nothing has changed.

Most guines pigs are mixtures of two or more types.

Hairless may not help. Dander is the problem, not the hair.

Is it possible to have a reaction to one and not the other?

Very unlikely, but I don't know that it's impossible.
