    WARNING: Romaine contamined with e.coli

Consumer Reports is recommending that everyone throw out their romaine -- several people have died from an e.coli contamination.

Thank you for posting that, bpatters. I had of course been hearing about it on the news, but since I don't feed my boys romaine I didn't pay it any mind. I of course was not thinking that others do.

Stay safe, everyone, and keep your furballs safe too!

Reading the story there has been several cases in the US and Canada, but they haven't been able to pinpoint a farm or brand or store as the source yet. Until they can pinpoint the source I would say don't use any romaine from the US or Canada, and don't purchase romaine in stores if you live in those countries just to play it safe.
