Hi everyone! I currently have one guinea pig named Kerberos (we call him Kerby). He is quite the big boy. Not that he's particularly fat... just big. He currently has a cage that I would say is about 2'x5' (I don't know the exact measurements but I know I can barely reach my arms around it longways) which makes it about 10 sqft.
We are looking into getting him a friend because I feel like he's lonely. All my research says that 2 pigs need about 7.5 sqft, so his current cage should be plenty big... but I almost feel like the cage is too small for just him since he's so big. He has plenty of space for lounging around, but not much to run around.

More space would be better if you're going to get him a friend. Ten square feet is the minimum for two pigs, and you always need more room for boars.
