    Other forms of calcium?

I just got my guinea pigs Click image for larger version.

ID:	82974. And they are about a month old. I am trying to give them parsley to get calcium and they have alfalfa hay but they don't eat them. Like I mix the alfalfa with Timothy because I don't have a ton of alfalfa and they only eat the Timothy. And I've sprinkled the parsley in their food but they avoid that too. Any tips? I just got them this weekend so I'm going to keep trying but I just want tips just in case.

Are you feeding them a high quality alfalfa pellet? If so, you don't need to worry about either alfalfa hay or extra calcium.

No I can only get adult pellets here which is why I want to get them more calcium

Read this to teach them to eat veggies: https://www.guineapigcages.com/forum...eat-vegetables

A couple of sprigs of parsley per pig should be plenty of calcium.

Awesome. Thanks for that! I will try the way it says in the link. I left it in the cage and they'll nibble at it but it's still sparse so I will try the chopping method
