    How hard is it to litter train?

    I have a Midwest guinea pig cage plus coming in the mail and I was planning to try and have one half of it be there litter tray, how difficult is to litter train two sows?

    It's impossible to train them. They go where they want to go, and if you are very lucky they will go where you plan on putting their litter tray. Perhaps watching them for a bit will help you determine where they like to go the most so you can determine where to put the litter tray.

    Mine pee in one area, but poop EVERYWHERE with nor a care given! No way to fully train a piggie!

    I find that placing the hay where you want them to do their business helps with most of it staying in that general area, as they poo while they eat the hay. It helps prevent them going elsewhere in the cage but they probably won't ever be completely trained.

    Guinea pigs like to eat, poop, pee, and sleep in the same place most of the time. It's disgusting, but that's just what they do. If you really want to keep most of the poop and pee in one area, I'd suggest making it really dark. You can also put the litter tray underneath the hayracks.
