    Guinea Pig With Lice

We found some orange bugs living in our Coronet, Pepper LaPues fur. Upon doing a little research we figured out it was most likely guinea pig lice.
What is the best course of action to take care of this problem as soon as possible? Many of the sources we checked said there are different kinds of lice, and a vet trip is necessary to prescribe the right kind of spray.

You don't want any kind of spray on animal that grooms itself if you can possibly use any other treatment.

You can go to the vet for Revolution, or treat them yourself with ivermectin. See https://www.guineapigcages.com/forum...mites-and-lice.
