Weigh the pups daily and make sure that everyone has access to unlimited young guinea pig pellets and hay. Also keep in mind that mama pig only has two nipples so with 4 pups sometimes not everybody gets their fair share of milk. If one seems to not be gaining weight or losing weight then they need special time with mom.

Also make sure you baby proof your cage to make sure that no heads get stuck in grids or cage bars.

You need to sex the babies and separate at 21 days of age to make sure the females do not end up pregnant if there are males in the litter.

Baby shampoo isn't appropriate for pigs. You need a shampoo formulated for exotic pets. Kaytee Squeaky Clean should be readily available.

I wouldn't. Babies are usually readily accepted by adults.

@Pitterpatter, you've already asked this once. There's no need to duplicate posts. Most people who read the forum read all the new posts.

Your cages look small. Aren't 3 grids = 3 feet? Especially the boars are going to need a lot. Of room. Maybe you were already told this, if so sorry.

Three grids is more than three feet. Each grid is 14 inches square, so three grids is 42 inches.

Ah, so 3.5 feet. Is that big enough for two boars? I. Still learning about c&c cages and will most likely get my next cage here. I know this is off topic but the bottom of the cages sold here, are they made from canvas or coroplast? Thanks!
