Six days ago at 1:30 AM, I found Harlow in a wobbly state of confusion. I had come into the pet room to check on them before I went to bed(I was up late watching a movie.) Me and my mom did all we could to keep her alive, we thought she had fallen ill, but in a way Harlow seemed perfectly fine (If that makes sense) while she was wobbly, she kept trying to run around, began eating a pear and a banana piece. Towards the end she lost control of all but her front legs, she still kept trying to run even in that state. Harlow didn't seem to be in any pain and kept eating until we removed the food from her fearing she would choke, the vets was closed and my mom thought Harlow had a stroke and we would take her to vets in the morning to see what could be done.
Sadly Harlow passed away at 10:26 AM the same morning. She died peacefully at four and a half years old.
I know she was older, but I miss her dearly she was the most personable perky and spicy guinea pig I had ever met and had the privilege of taking care of. She has fought through much in her lifetime, there were many times I was sure I would lose her but she survived far past my expectations. Harlow will be missed dearly among my family but always remembered for her go lucky attitude and comical antics.
