Looking for Single Male Guinea Pig in Southern SC

Hello, all! I'm upgrading my guinea pig's cage this Christmas, and with the bigger cage, I'll be able to get him a cage mate. Does anyone know of any organizations or rescues that adopt out guinea pigs in lower SC? I'd really rather adopt a pig than buy one from a pet store, for numerous reasons. If anyone is trying to rehome a single male guinea pig, I'd also be happy to consider that!

I don't know of any, but often general shelters and rescues will have guinea pigs that just aren't as advertised, and you can call and ask any in your area whether they have any single male piggies. If they don't, try Craigslist and/or Petfinder, there are always pigs who need homes on there.
