    Keeping Skinny warm/wont lay down

I have lots of fllece bundles and and things for Wilbur to cuddle up in but he continued to sleep standing with his feet tucked in so this week I set up one of my reptile basking lamps with a low watt bulb to raise the temperature a bit in his cage.
He LOVES it, its to one side of a 4x2 so he can choose to go under when he likes. I made him a soft mat for that spot since he was still standing upright to nap there.
He seems to like the mat but still wont lay down.
Do some pigs just not lay down?
Before I adopted him he lived in a small petstore cage with a leaky bottle so I wonder if he just adapted to sleeping that way to stay dry.

How does everyone else keep their skinnys warm?Click image for larger version.

Do you have a hidey for him? Does he sleep standing up under a hidey?

He has hideys, his favorite is a pigloo so I stuffed it with extra fleece bits and draped fleeces over it for insulation and he sleeps standing in it.
    Apartments temp is 73 degrees.

Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable at your house yet. Might take more time for him to start laying down when he sleeps.
73 degrees is not cold. He should be fine.

Of course because I decided to go ahead and ask about it, today is the day!
He fell asleep on his basking pad and ever so slowly fell over.

Awwwww, that's so cute, he is precious. I bet when he finally gave in and collapsed on the soft fleece he was like "Ahhhhh, that feels so good"
