Hi, this is pumpkin, she's 11 months old and i've had her around 3 days now, once i got her home i noticed she was looking an odd shape, a bit like an oval. I did some online searching about pregnant piggies and found she looks very similar to a 5-6 week pregnant piggie. The woman i got her off said she has had a litter her self and used to be in with a male but that she hadn't for a while, i can't take her word on this completely. Here is a picture of her tummy, i can feel two round hard balls either side of her ribs, now it says that if they are pregnant they are sleepy and lazy, my piggy is on and off and sometimes she likes running in her cage.

It's hard to tell from a picture. It would be easier if you put her on a flat surface on all fours and took the picture from directly overhead. Even then, you can't always tell until they're very far along.

She definitely has the pregnant piggy shape! From my experience, the first signs I noticed was definitely my pig?s belly increasing getting bigger than it should be for her age as a normal guinea pig. Also at that point I could tell there was movement in her belly. You should limit picking her up if she is in fact pregnant but if you get the chance to, I was able to tell by letting my guinea pig stay on a flat surface or cuddle up on my shoulder and gently cup your hands around the bump or basically the part on their abdomen where the babies would be. After about a month and a half into the pregnancy I was able to feel them moving around. Kicking and moving that?s ALOT stronger than a gas bubble or food moving around.
