Hello there!

I'm a new cavy owner with two boars. My oldest (2 months old) gets fidgety after about 10 minutes of lap time where he starts to bite on my clothes and begins to nibble at anything he sees. Is this normal behavior for wanting to go back into his cage? I don't jostle him around and I make sure I'm holding him correctly as well.

Thanks

Yes, that's totally normal. He's telling you he's ready to go back.

Yeah, our girls always do that. It takes about an hour for Olive to want to go back and about 5-10 minutes for Peanut.

That's a relief! I guess it really just depends on their personalities, huh? :)

Does olive pee on you? My guinea pigs could never go that long without peeing.

She only has once or twice, but I usually put her back after 20-30mins.
