I have a baby guinea pig. It says in the home page that in order to make a cage for babies, pregnant moms, or smaller guinea pigs that you may need bigger sides. Does that mean the coroplast part? It says to go to the cage safety page for more info but that page doesn't have any more info about this. So should I just make the sides of the coroplast part of the cage taller?

Most people just put temporary siding up when they've got pups -- cardboard, or pieces of coroplast. You can take them down when the pig is too big to get its head caught in one of the holes.
