I'm just waiting for my grids to arrive before I start building my 5x2 C&C cage with a 2x1 loft. However I haven't yet figured out a ramp and feel like correx isn't strong enough to hold two piggies bounding around all day. I'm left with these questions:

-What should the ramp made out of?
-How long should it be? (The loft will be 36cm off the main cage floor).
-What should it covered in to stop it from being slippy?
-How should it be attached to the loft?

Any my suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you :)

Well, you can look at pictures in the photo gallery. They have lots of ideas and you can see how they put them on. I don't have a ramp, but I know that some people make them out of cat scratching posts. Or you could make them out coroplast and put u haul on it and fleece on top of the u haul.

There are so many different types of ramps. As Beatrix says, check out the photo gallery.

My ramps were made from bending grids, and lining with washable rugs which I attached with plastic ties. When they needed washing I'd just cut the ties and attach another.
