Account access issues?

I've been a member of the forum for about 8 months. When I returned after not coming on for awhile, I am being told that I do not have access to view my profile, account or notifications. I also cannot access anyone else's profiles. Any time I try to, I am told that I do not have permission to view it - even my own account settings and profile. What is this all about?
