Not loudly but he is squeaking. He also is sitting and being all poofy and sad looking. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow and make an appointment. I just want to be sure I go in with all the right questions and information. I was reading on guinealynx and if I understand correctly I can expect: physical exam, X-rays and urine collection. I am nervous about the urine collection. Do they have a special collection pad or do they always direct draw it? I'm not sure what questions to ask. Do they always do X-rays to check for stones or do they treat for uti and only do X-rays if symptoms don't improve?
I was also wondering, do you think this is because we stopped using fleece? We switched to paper (generic care fresh type) in July while we were on vacation and I've just kept using it. I scoop out the pee spots almost every day so he isn't sitting in wet bedding. I can get new fleece and switch back to fleece if that would help prevent future problems. I know diet plays a big part to so I will switch that up too. I got my shipment of kms pellets so that will help and I found reverse osmosis water for .25 a gallon. I'm just so worried about him. He's my sweetumwheatums.
