Welcome Ebony! these forums are a great source of information, they've been so helpful!

My tips are to also read all of the care guide and medical guide at www.guinealynx.info and aside from that, make sure you consider adopting over buying and to also start saving up for medical bills. They can be very expensive (Hundreds of dollars).
