Fleece can someone help me out with the cuddle cup tutorial posted by Ly&Pigs?

Hey there . I search cuddle cup pattern and found the one by Ly&Pigs called How To Make A Cuddle Cup(requires sewing). The thread is old, so I couldn't post my question there. Hopefully someone on here can answer my question. The tutorial says to cut strips that are 30.5". But, the circumference of an 11 inch circle is 34.56. So how does this work? @Ly&Pigs

I think you have to account for the seam allowance. You're not using the whole 11". More like 10.5", I think.

hm, okay that makes some sense, thanks! it still isn't 30.5, but obviously people made them successfully . I may try it with the actual circumference and one that follows the pattern, just to see the difference

You could leave the fabric longer and cut it out later.
