Canada Where can I adopt guinea pig in Ottawa/Gatineau region

Hi all,

I'm new to this group and I'm loving it so far with all the threads and posts, a lot of useful information for me to know before buying my first piggies! I would like to know where I can adopt guinea pigs in the Ottawa/Gatineau region (which are 2 cities in the Ontario and Quebec provinces for those who don't know)

Try the Ottawa Humane Society. If they don't have any they may be able to connect you with someone who does.

Try asking the staff at your local Pet Valu store (not PetSmart). The staff at Pet Valu in my area are terrific. The lady there knows a lot about small animals and actually cuts nails. You could also ask around at local vets who treat guinea pigs.
