Odd behavior
I have 3 piggies mookie who is 4 yrs old, mousie who is 1 1/2 months old and our newest member (name still pending) who is 4 weeks old. mousie the middle child seems to be acting wierd he struts around moving real slow stretching his body out and shaking is rear and makes this deep purring noise then he chaces one of the other pigs most of the time its mookie and mounts him now this doesn't seem normal for three males to have one of them trying to mate with the other two and now it seems the youngest one is started it to. please any info will help they get along great other than that.

Re: Odd behavior
It's called rumblestrutting. It's one of the ways guinea pigs try to show dominance. Same thing when it comes to mounting, they aren't trying to mate.

Re: Odd behavior
It's very normal, especially in males. They will all rumblestrutt at some point to show who's boss. Again, mounting is nothing to worry about

Yep, it freaked me out to when I first got my Nutterbutter and Oreo, well Nutterbutter to this day STILL constantly rumblestruts and oreo does a weak attempt at returning the favor LOL!

Re: Odd behavior
Welcome ynkydodle3!
Nipping, chasing, butt-sniffing, mounting, nose-offs and rumblestrutting are perfectly normal dominance behaviours and nothing to worry about.
