I would try calling the vet and explaining what's going on. Perhaps they will prescribe something over the phone so you don't need to go back in. How's her weight?

It's been increasing. She went from 2 lbs 1 oz to 2 lbs 5 oz and that's 1 ounce from her normal weight

    So, update.

Late last night I heard her make a weird hacking/gagging noise. Sounded like she was going to puke. After that, she's breathing perfectly normally.

It was really weird. I'm still giving her her antibiotics.

Finished the antibiotics. When she was taking them, she was doing better but now she is right back to where she was.

I called the vet. She refilled another prescription for a little bit more duration this time. Hoping this works.

My vet told me to take another go with the antibiotics. She said if this doesn't work than she probably has an issue with her heart.
