Cilantrillo?

I looked at the supermarket for cilantro, but I only found Cilantrillo. Does anyone know if it's the same thing or if it's safe to feed to the piggies? It looked similar to parsely. Any help is greatly appreciated.

At the grocery store here they have parsley, cilantro, and italian parsley. If you smell cilantro it reminds me of salsa. Meby they just cant speel

drum sativum. Coriander, the spice, is cilantro seed, and yes they certainly
do taste different. There are several other species that taste like cilantro,
one is a tender knotweed from Thailand and the other is a succulent that
people grow in Puerto Rico where it is known as cilantro while the annual

How much cilantro is the recommended per day, anyone know? I give my guinea pigs a LOT, when I hear people only give their pigs 5 springs or so.. I give them like 50+.. A large, large handful..

I always know when I've picked up cilantro. My eyes burn and water and my arms get itchy. My pigs only get it as a treat since it is so hard for me to handle it I have no clue why it bothers me so. I do have lots of contact allergies, but they are mostly to soap and glue.

Cilantro is a very good guinea pig veggie and really doesn't have a reason to be fed in any moderation. I usually divide up a entire cilantro bunch between 2 pigs. I haven't heard of a cilantro allergy. Between the 2 of us Chris and I are allergic to about everything possible but not cilantro.

I didn't know about it untill I tried to feed it to the pigs. Everytime I tried to break some off the bunch it would happen. I can eat cilantro dried and handle it dried, but I can't touch it fresh.

Sabriel- Maybe there are some oils in the cilantro you are allergic to since it doesn't bother you dried.

I feed cilantro almost daily, but my pigs tend to just nibble off the "leaves", and turn up their noses at the stems. (unlike with parsley, which they suck up like spaghetti strings, a la "Lady and the Tramp"! )

Is this what most pigs do?

Percy gobbles up the leaves and then munches down the stems till there is nothing left. He didn't really care for parsley at all, so I stopped buying it unless I need some for cooking.
