Diet Chewing Newspaper underneath fleece bedding

I'm sure this has been answered, but I can't seem to sift through all the threads. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep your piggies from chewing on newspaper, or if I should even be concerned?

My girls, one significantly more so than the other, have a bad habit of raking back the fleece and layers of towels and chewing on the newspaper that lines the bottom of the cage. It's not like she's mowing through a whole page in an hour, just chewing the edges until I fuss at her to stop, so I don't know if I should even be concerned.

Why are you using newspaper? The towels should be enough... If you still want to use it you could binder clip the fleece so they can't get to it.
