What travel carrier do u use for your piggy? I used Hagen living world red/gray carrier by Living World, but i've found that it's too small after one trip to the vet. Please be specific in the brand or provide a link. I live in the US btw so i don't think i can get any UK ones. THANKS!:):love:lol

My favorite is the cabin kennel with wire top.

I have the 19.4 inch version. I have two piggies and I use this for car rides, as part of their floor time, or anytime I need to do a quick cage cleaning. It doubles as their bedroom area when I travel. Here's what else I like about it:
-Hard plastic, safer than soft-sided carriers
-top door is eaiser access to put in/take out piggies, drop in food or just to keep an eye on them
-large enough for 2 cuddle cups and a food dish for traveling, but fits in one car seat.
Since I use it weekly for cage cleaning both girls are used to it by now. Car rides are less scary for them.

There are less expensive versions out there. I think you may also be able to get one second hand from local shelters.

It would be fine for warm weather but you'd want something more more enclosed when it's cold.

You can get pet carriers for about $3 or $4 at Goodwill. I see them all the time.

A hard-sided cat carrier works well. My local SPCA gets a ton of carriers when someone surrenders their cat, so they have a mountain of them just sitting outside. I asked if I could buy one for my piggies, and they gave it to me for only $10! It was in great condition and is perfect for the pigs, all it needed was a good scrubbing. You might want to check your local shelter to see if they have something similar.
