    Smile Guinea Pig Personalities

Are any of your guinea pigs comical? I used to have chinchillas and some of their antics had me laughing so hard. I know each guinea pig has a unique personality but what do your guinea pigs do that make you laugh?

I know its not really unique but when they clean their faces it always seems to make me laugh. Plus it's also funny when Cinna will be chewing on some veggies and Gin-Gin tries to take it right out of his mouth. I also laugh when Gin-Gin tries to steal Cinna's lettuce instead of eating the piece I gave him. Almost like the one I gave him isn't good enough . So they always seem to switch

Even though there are two water bottles in the cage, my two girls will sometimes try to drink from the same bottle at the same time.

Yeah every piggy has it's on personality, like Russell he is such a happy piggy! He popcorns way to much! He has a hide corner made with fleece and every time I call his name he'll kind of play a lil peek a boo...it's way to funny...

Teddi is the most comical of my group. She'll start to popcorn and move from one end of the cage to the other just pop corning like crazy. Her cage mate Ginger will just look at her and then look at me. I swear she is saying "what's with her"? Teddi also loves to hide under the fleece pads that I have in their cage. I'll say where's Teddi and she'll pop her little head out and you can just about see her smile and say "here I am Mom". I love all my pigs but I have to say that Teddi has quickly won my heart.

Anybody have an abyssinian? I always hear that those breeds were little trouble makers. So i'm interested in hearing some stories that portrays their "mischievous" personalities

@richguinea my Cinna's a Abyssinian he's definitely not mischievous he's actually the laid back of the two.

    Re: Guinea Pig Personalities

I can't help but laugh when my pigs go on organized expeditions around the living room. A very well assembled little line-up of pigs will venture out, each investigating objects in sequence. I find my skinny pig is the boldest little troublemaker of the group. If I walk into their gated off area she follows me around squeaking and licking my feet if I stop...I think this is the guinea pig way of begging for food.
