So I just switched over to Oxbow pellets and my one guinea is about 9 or 10 months old and my other guinea is about 3 or 4 months old, is it okay for my larger guinea to eat the "young guinea pig" pellets despite the fact that he does not necessarily need the added nutrients to promote growth? With the age difference I was not sure to buy the "young" or the "adult" pellets.

Thank you for any feedback!

Some people who have young and older pigs living together have a dish of each. They would eat each other's pellets though, so it might be a problem if your older pig got too much calcium. A way to make sure only the younger pig is getting the calcium is by hand feeding him 2 sprigs of parsley every day, and feeding them both adult pig pellets.
