    General veggie questions

So I finally got the girls to eat green peppers. The two main things they will eat are the peppers and green leaf lettuce. I throw in a baby carrot every few days. They also really like cilantro, radicchio and endive.

    Here are my questions:
Is the above list enough variety? Or should I keep pushing other stuff? They will eat romaine and kale but I try to stay away from it because of too much calcium, which they are getting from their baby pellets. They are getting enough calcium from the pellets right?

How much green pepper should they each eat daily to acquire enough vitamin c? I was giving tablets before they started eating the bells. Maggie loves them but Lily needs to be hand fed the peppers in order for her to get hers...otherwise Maggie would eat them all. LOL.

    Any help is appreciated!!!

Your current variety of veggies sound good to me. If they are happy eating that stuff I wouldn't find it necessary to try new things. I would stick with what they like.

They should be good in the calcium department if you're feeding unlimited alfalfa pellets.

I believe it is 1/8 of a green pepper to get a good amount of vitamin c daily.

That's a really good variety, but the list of veggies your girls can have is huge, and adding new things is always better than not.
My girls love cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro, parsley, dandelions, zucchini, red leaf lettuce, other colored peppers, and even some fruit every once in a while.
You should never limit them from trying new things.
