So I'm building the 2x6(30" x 90") c&c and the wide loft 2x2 I saw on the site(https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/candc-cage-deluxe-wide-jumbo), for my 4 pigs in my small apartment.

So does everyone use multiple pieces of coroplast or just one. I'm looking one at home depot that's 48'x96" a single piece that would fit on the lower level with 6 inches sticking up easily on the length, but the width is like 4 inches sticking up, since on the site, the interior space listed is 27" x 84.5", I believe taking in account for coroplast in already. So would a single piece be fine? Or just go for multiple smaller?

Also for the ramp I see portal grid on the site has examples where the entrance to the 2nd floor could be from the bottom and front https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/narrow-loft-loop , which is better?

And I've seen the ramp just being coroplast and other having support of a grid curved underneath, is there any difference?

I've only got 4 inch walls all the way around my cage.

You'll need support under a coroplast ramp. It's too flexible to hold up the pigs.

See this page for how to build.
https://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm

A 48 x 96 sheet is large enough for a 2x6 cage with 6 inches walls. The coroplast tray is 27 x 84 inches. You'll even have enough to make the back wall taller than the front.

Thanks, I'm ordering 43 grids from eBay for a steal price, going to try bending one if not works I'll just get the ramp support from the store site.

Appreciate the link and thanks, so many ideas now thinking I'll have some left over grids since I only need 26 not 43

You may want to check out my thread on making a reinforced coroplast ramp. It is almost identical to what is sold online.

(broken link removed)

However, I have to confess that I lack the patience to craft the ramp and often end up buying it from the store which is the parent site of this forum. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

Many of us buy our coroplast from Sabic Polymershapes if you have an outlet within driving distance. As I recall the sheets are 4x8 feet and the store will usually cut it to your desired size. That makes it easier to transport as well. The company was purchased by a larger conglomerate so I don't know what their sales policies are at present.
