You can rub on some cold pressed Virgin coconut oil. It can be found in pretty much any grocery now a days.

It can get pretty dry inside my house in the winter and my one sow gets dry ears. Coconut oil once or twice a week always keeps her ears soft!

He isn't itchy and it doesn't seem to bug him and its just that ear. it does look like anything other than it being just dry

I can't tell. The picture is too small and dark. But it's not likely to be anything other than possibly fungus, and unless it's a really bad infestation of it, the coconut oil should clear it up.

If that means cold pressed, that's what you want. If it's processed with heat, the antifungal and antibacterial qualities are destroyed.

Twice a day until it clears up (if it does). Then once a week or so, to keep his ears soft and supple.

Will an admin please update the title to be general Leo/Sawyer also my boys are showing signs of a URI what will the vet be doing to determine if they have it?

Listening with a stethescope, possibly taking an x-ray.

How could they of gotten a URI

Who knows? I've got one that's getting over a bad case of pneumonia, and I have no idea how she got it.

It sucks not knowing how it happened oh and they are 8 1/2 weeks old Birthday is December 11th

What symptoms of a URI is he having?
