Size Does cage width matter?

I understand that the minimum cage size for 2 piggies is 10.5 square feet, but I wasn't sure if their cage width mattered. For example, would it be acceptable to do a 5 ft by 2 ft or 6 ft x 2 ft cage (possibly with a loft area), or do they need a cage that's wider than 2 feet?
Also, does anyone know of any cheap tables to keep a C&C cage on?

2 grids wide (28inches) is generally the least width you should have. whether you want to have it bigger, is up to you though.

Okay. I could probably make it into a 6x3 or 5x3 then. I'll have to look at the area it will go in to decide if it will be 6 or 3 grids. Is this a decent size for 2 piggies (planning on female, but that isn't set in stone)?

That will be amazing for the girls (I hope you're adopting 😉). Girls only need 2x4, but bigger is always better! I'm hoping to upgrade to a 2x4 or 2x5 plus a kitchen, Currently I have a 2x4 including the kitchen.

I have the grids slightly overlapped on the width of my C&C cages so they're 24" wide x 5 grids long.
