I'd ditch the pigloo. There's no air circulation, so they're sitting in and inhaling the fumes from their own urine. A pigloo is just an invitation for one pig to trap another and get its nose slashed. It's also taking up room they need to run around. You can hang pieces of fleece, or make cardboard tunnels.

I agree about the pigloo. Pigs seem to love them. If you expand the cage and want to use the pigloo, cut another opening in the other side and sand the cut edges smooth. Pay special attention to the bottom so there are no sharp edges to injure their feet. Then they have 2 exits and better ventilation.

Thats what i have done lol its not really seen in the picture but i have cut a hole on the other side so they run through it kind of like a longer castle tunnel and then the green tunnel i have gotten is mainly used for ferrets but they love it and being its big and flexible they jump in and out of it often! I will have to sand it when i did it i just cut as best as i could wide so they had room to run through

My husband wants to build them things around the cage so they can run from one opening of the door to the other its a slow progress but we are working on it i cant wait to add my add on for them!

Yes, the plastic is pretty solid. I think I used one of those kitchen scissors that you can practically trim trees with. The other hideys I have are Dollar Tree stacking bins. I flip the over and my pig likes to get under them and pull them around like a shell. They also have various plastic containers for organizing and I have a few that I flip over and cut entrances in.
