Male pigs need to be housed in a 2x5 cage. How big is that one? I would ask the seller that question.

But how would that cage make a difference?

I'm likely switching to bedding instead of fleece and I can't get coro, so a cage with a bottom would hold fleece.

What size C&C are they in now? If you've got to get a "pet store" cage then go with the Midwest Guinea Habitat, but it's not really big enough for 2 boys.

Why can't you get coroplast in your area? If you can get coroplast then you could also try things to prevent burrowing under the fleece, if you want to stick with fleece, but bedding is good too.

They are in a 2x4. I live in a town 8 hours from the nearest Coroplast or Sign Retailer. And I started another thread about stopping the burrowing, no replies yet.

I have a C&C cage, my two guinea pigs keep getting under the fleece and making a mess and I cant get Coro in my area, which is why I'm looking to change cages.

Have you check these places?

You can order just the coroplast base from here:
https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/candc-base-large#.Vbxzr5NViko

The cage in your link is only 46-8/9-inch length by 22-4/5-inch width
Compared to a 2x4 grids cage, which is 56 inch x 28 inch.
The cage in your link is way too small, even for one pig.

You could put a shower curtain down and then get a cage liner. They are made with double uhaul absorbent layers and a very heavy. I don't think a guinea could burrow under one. If you live in the US you can try peeweepiggypalace - https://www.facebook.com/PeeweesPiggyPalace?fref=ts or if you live in Canada you can try budget bunny - https://www.facebook.com/budgetbunnyshop?fref=ts
I have a shower curtain and a cage liner. They get under the cage and eat up the shower curtain while I'm at school.

I'd have to travel serveral hours to get coro and it wouldn't fit in my car. There's no way I could afford shipping on coro. It's $35 to get it shipped from your last link.

What if you get bigger fleece and just put your grids in top? They won't be able to dig it up.

Instead of clipping the fleece and shower curtain to the inside of the grids, maybe try clipping it outside the grids? Then it's a lot harder to pull down

Oh! That would likely work for me. I'll try that when I get back, I'm on vacation until Tuesday.

(The extra large one)

I have seen this cage in person as my sister-in-law owned one and it is not big enough for 2 male guinea pigs, let alone 1. I do not recommend it. It's a nice temporary cage, but it is definitely not big enough for a permanent cage for two males.

A 48x96 piece of coroplast can be rolled and taped and it will fit in the backseat of a small car.

@pinky is correct! It's tricky, but it can be done :) Having someone with you helps for sure! My husband and I fit 2 48X96 sheets into the back of his Toyota camry. It took a bit of working, but we got it to fit and got them home

Another idea is to use vinyl or linoleum flooring from home improvement stores.
You can fold them up like coroplast. They are easier to find and much easier to transport.
The cage will look like this.

You can even make a flap to dispose bedding.
