Hello everyone. Quick question. How will I know if my piggies are getting constipated? one of our 2 girls is making smaller poops but its not dry or shaped like an actual ball. still looks like a regular solid oval shaped poop. they don't seem bloated either. I would appreciate any help or even pictures to show me what a constipated piggy poop looks like. Thanks!

Pigs don't usually get constipated.

If your pigs are pooping a normal amount and they're the right shape and consistence, I wouldn't worry about it.

Is it usually boars that get impaction?

Yes, and impaction isn't really the same thing as constipation. Constipation occurs within the intestines, and is caused by hardened feces. Impaction is the blockage of the anal sac because the muscles can't expel the feces, but in that case, the feces are already out of the intestines.

Yep, pretty much. The slightly pinched tails may mean they're a little soft. How many veggies are you feeding them?

Morning and evening. Half a cup each so it'll equal up to a cup each day for both. Romaine lettuce every other day. Bell peppers every day. Cucumber 1-2 a week. Cilantro every 2-3 times a week. Carrots 2-3 times a week. Grapes or strawberries once a week. Daily hay. Pellets 2 oz.
