Here is my cage all baby proofed for Paisley and Willow. It's a 2x5. Does it have too much stuff in it? 20160326_221906.jpgy

There are some really spectacular cages on here! Mine is simplistic, but I'm enjoying all the changes I can make with a C&C Cage. First pic is with old piggybedspreads, and second is with new uhaul/fleece liner I made last night:

They really love the fleece forest! I put their chair under the left side and Honeybun stays there all day!

@Barzano724, you may need to move that cage during cold weather. Guinea pigs do much better in cooler temperatures than in warmer ones, and next to that baseboard heater may be a problem.

The pigs got a new cage. I'm going to change the front to plexiglass later.

It's 7 feet long by 32 inches.

Tired from moving (10 minutes car ride).

This is my c&c cage for two sows. I still need to cut the fleece and fit it properly, but this will work for the moment. They also have a pigloo that I haven't put back in.

And this is how excited they got to come back to a fresh cage.

What did you use for the ramp?

I recently extended my 3 girls' cage to a 2x7 and blocked off the ramp to the 2x3 basement level. After adopting my third piggy, who didn't go in the basement at all, my other two girls also spent a lot less time down there. I decided it was more extra work than it was worth so they're enjoying a larger single story cage.

Wow, Ferb & Penny have cage envy, it looks great!

This is our cage, it's a 3x5 and my two boys adore it! I'm super impressed with everyones' on here and it has definitely inspired me to make some adjustments.

Just thought I'd add mine into this thread. Spent all last weekend expanding my cage and putting this new one together. (Food dishes are drying). Penelope, Princess Pea, and Pipsqueak are enjoying their new home immensely!

Cookie and Oreo's 2x4 C&C cage. My girls were enjoying some bell pepper (their favorite!) in this photo. :) *nom nom*

I created a dangling fleece "hidey" that they love popcorning in and out off. This morning I actually added some additional fleece "vines" on the back, creating a perfect little square.

This was before I added the additional fleece walls.

I got experimental with the setup again last night! Since the weather is starting to heat up here in TX, I opted the hidey houses for a forest-like curtain covering the entranceway to their covered area underneath the loft. The girls are loving it! It's so fun catching them do zoomies in and out of the vines. Also, having the kitchen upstairs has helped with cleanliness.

I love your setup! I'm looking to do a 2x5 with a party patio. I like how you have higher walls so that the patio can be raised a bit more. I'd like to do that but I want to be able to cover my cage so I think I'll have to settle for having the patio a bit lower.

Thank you! I'm really satisfied with the design and quality of the piggy party patio, so I definitely would recommend you get one! I love how the ramp incline is not so steep. What I ended up doing was using the grids that acted as my cover to create the higher walls.

How do you keep the fleece clean and the pee smell managed? Anything under the fleece? I am just about to make my C&C cage but not sure how to manage the fleece and cleaning.

You need an absorbent layer under the fleece, the fleece just wicks liquid through to keep the surface dry. Most people use uhaul moving pads or wood pellets.

I have a layer of cardboard topped with a layer of two towels underneath the fleece in my cage. One thing I would suggest is to learn what spots your pigs like to soil the most. For my girls, it's underneath the loft, one of the most difficult places to clean/sweep during the week. I've recently placed their Cavy Café filled with paper pellet bedding and a layer of towels to act as blankets in that area. So far so good!

Either I've been in a building kind of mood lately or I'm just really indecisive (I only thought I was done adding things to "Cavy Kingdom"), but this happened last night! I purchased a 2x3 coroplast base from GPCS recently and made the expansion yesterday. My girls' cage is now a 2x7 "L" shaped corner cage.

Cutting the coroplast gave me so much anxiety, but in the end I think it turned out great and the girls are loving it!

Haha, ignore the beer box. I've found those are the best for stuffing with hay!
