Then you can cut the flaps, like this.

Then tape it to make the tray.

The final tray should be 27" x 41" with 4" walls on two sides, and 3.5" walls on two sides.

You're welcome. The cage looks great.

The walls look okay to me. They are shorter than standard 6" walls, but should be okay. There might be some shavings flying out of the cage.
I forgot to ask, how old are your pigs? If they are under 6 months, we need to babyproof the cage.

You can put about 1" - 1 1/2" thick of bedding.

You don't need anything under the shavings. Some people put newspapers under the shavings to make it easier to roll up the bedding for cage cleaning.

You might need to put a drop of glue in the corners to make sure the corners are sealed.

Also look into fleece bedding for costs savings.

Tape should be okay. You can put large trash bags under the corners if you notice the cage leaking.

Since we don't know their age, just watch out if they can get their heads through the bars. That's when it becomes dangerous and need to babyproof, as they can get stuck.

Cage looks great! The pet store cages work well for a place to put your piggies while you're cleaning their c&c cage if you can't have them out for floor time at that moment. Plus if one of your piggies ever gets sick with something contagious or you get another piggie one day, you can use the pet store cage for a quarantine space. :)

Congrats! Looks good. I was so paranoid when I did my cage. I measured and marked about 4 times before I touched the coroplast with the knife.
