"It is recommended to neuter the boys and the cost would be $180.50 per pig."
Is this a fair price to pay I haven't shopped around, this is just the closest besides banfield in pet stores vet to me.

Are you planning on putting him with a female? If not then he doesn't really need to be neutered. :)
As far as the price goes, I'm not totally sure. On cavyspirit.com it says that the prices can range from 35-300$ so I would think that that's an alright price?

I paid 180 for Reko's Neuter. Cheapest in my city. The only other vet charges about $300. Make sure where ever you go they are cavy savvy.

I paid $125 a couple of years ago for Rigatoni. I wouldn't do it if you don't plan on housing him with females.

Have a 2x4 and a 2x5. I was thinking instead of two cages to make it just one large cage, and use the 2x4 as a quarantine area for any sick pigs. I haven't decided if I want to get the largest one in this sites store 2x6 or make my own and make it like 2x8 and a 2x2 loft. I have 2 males and 3 females. This is not something I plan to rush and I may not do it. Just thinking about it and checking on prices.

You can't house 2 males with females. There's a pretty high chance that they will fight. The general rule is to have only one neutered male per group of females.

Did not realize this kinda make me sad I feel it would just be easier with 1 cage. So if this is the case there no use to fix them. Save me from experience a fight and save me $361.
