Is there already a set of instructions? I made one and took photos of each step, and I was wondering if I should post them here, or is there already some? Also, where should I post them,

I would love to see instructions on how to make a hay bag. That's the next thing I would like to tackle. Also, what kind of material works best...cotton??? I would think fleece would be bad for the hay sticking to. Ideas and suggestions would be great!

Okay! Give me a couple of days and I can get it up. I'll link to it here. @plabol1 I used cotton because fleece is a nightmare to clean hay off.

Did you use cotton on both sides and inside too? I can't wait to see your tutorial. I may try it this weekend if it's up by then. Thanks!

I used cotton to make mine. I'd be more then willing to make a tutorial too, if any one is intrested :p

It's super easy. Hay bags are probably the easiest thing to make.

I used cotton to make mine, fleece would make the hay stick to the sides. Make sure you don't make the holes to big or you'll end up having piggies in your bag! My guinea pigs sleep in their hay bag at night -.-"

I am sure that a hay bacg would be so much more quiet than a wooden hay rack! :p

My guys wiggle into the hay bag no matter how small I make the hole! Even mom somehow fits in there and I so can't figure out how she got her big self through that little hole lol

@YourSoJelly

Lap pads are super easy, I wouldn't make a quilt unless you're a good sewer, simply because getting things to line up isn't easy and they take a lot of time and patience. The one I just posted took a good 2 weeks to finish.

I might be selling some though, if anyone is intrested!

All you do for a lap pad is sew three layers together, fleece, water proof, fleece, turn it right side out and sew it closed!
