Water Cloudy water?

I have noticed that my tap water is cloudy. What does that mean? Is it bad for my guinea pigs? Could this be the cause of cloudy urine?

Try running ur tap for a minute or two I have same prob n it just needs a good blast through. I'm not sure about it causing cloudy urine tho Hun x

Ok thank you. Once it sits in a cup for a few, it starts to clear up. It's so weird

Then it's probably tiny air bubbles in the water.

Sometimes the water at my school does that, out of the fountains. It always clears up after a few minutes. I'm fine, I don't think it will effect the pigs unless you have hard water or something.

Oh ok. Cause Bpatters said if I had hard water, it can cause cloudy urine. So I thought maybe thats why my water was cloudy

I'm trying to figure out if the cloudy water is a sign of hard water. Hmmmm

I think it is a sign of hard water to b honest but as I said personally my piggies are fine so far but may b summit I have to look into

Lol yea. I read that 85% of the country has hard water. I guess we could always get a water filter to hook to the faucet.

Yea tell me about it. The cloudiness of my water later has me scared kinda. So I just started to give them poland spring water

I'm not sure what to do now as I said they've been fine not out the ordinary in terms off illness or urine etc.

I guess they are like people. Everything affects each piggy differently. My boars are the ones with cloudy urine. The females not so much.

I've got boars. I'll keep a close eye on them see how they go orrr I cud go fill up bottles round my mothers house lol
