Forages What is this, and can my pigs eat it?

So there are these leaf-weed-plant-things that grow in abundance outside around my house, and in wondering if they're a good piggy forage. They grow in small clumps, a little bigger than dandelion greens.

Every county in the US has a county extension agent. Look under the listings for the county you live in, ask for an email to send a picture of something you want identified, and let them tell you what it is.

Wow, that's handy! I never knew.

I sent in pictures and some info to the "Master Gardener", so I guess we'll see!

They said that it could be yellow hawkweed or healall, but I don't think so. I think it looks more like wild lettuce... I'll keep looking to make sure, though.
