Where to Order? Small Pet Select

20 lb. of hay lasts anywhere between 3-6 months for my 2 pigs. 10 lb. pellets lasted 4 months, still going. I'd say SPS is pretty good. It's one of the best.

SPS uses calcium carbonate as the calcium source for their pellets. The only pellets I'd recommend in the U.S. are KMS Hayloft and the new formulation of Oxbow pellets.

I use Small Pet Select Hay most of the time, with an occasional order from American Pet Diner.

Ten pounds of pellets lasts me about 3-4 months for three pigs, but they don't always eat all of them every day. A 50 pound box of hay lasts 5-6 months.

It is like 20 dollars or more for 5 pounds of small pet select guinea pig pellets. I have always been able to get 10 pounds of oxbow guinea pig pellets for like 19 dollars.

My 5 pigs go through 50lbs of 3rd cut hay every 3-5 months, it really depends on how much I give them to play with. I also use the code BETTERHAY.

When's the last time you ordered? They changed the system so BETTERHAY hasn't worked my last two orders. I'm so disappointed. I had been paying 1.5-1$ a pound for hay and now it's costing me $2+ per pound.

Hmmmm, It wouldn't let me use it at all. Couldn't use it under my daughters info either. I wonder if it's because I order orchard grass. I guess I'll try my next one with the 3rd cut and see if it works.

Honey a firefox addon found a new FRESHHAY FOR $10.00 OFF. This really sucks too, with the discount I have been able to waste so much hay by throwing in huge piles into the cage. It's still $1.59 a pound for me buying 50lbs but still. I guess I will do smaller piles and order less often.

Cool thanks! I've only been able to get discounts with my "small pet rewards points" and it's a significantly smaller discount. I hate that I'll have to let them have less to play in. [emoji20]

The code BETTERHAY has always worked for me. I just use different email accounts when ordering. It works with any kind of order.

Maybe it expired. I haven't ordered from SPS since Novmber.
