Thank you @MizzyMiz ! I was confused as Squeak has a crest, but the only long fur she has is on her back, like a ridgeback (it sticks up usually). Would she still be a coronet?

Maybe a coronet/peruvian mix since peruvian mixes usually cause for the long hair in the back, they also can cause ridges and rosettes in the back.

I'm fairly certain that Ron's an American Shorthair, although not 100% sure on that. I'm wondering about his colouring. I'm guessing he'd be classed as brindle, but since I've had him, he's started getting small areas of white hair growing in, mainly around his head.

View attachment 52265View attachment 52266

Yes, he's an American. For the color, you're really close on brindle, but brindle is only the intermixing of red and black hairs, but yours is red and chacolate, so he would be a Red and Chocolate broken. The reason I'm ignoring the white hairs is because stray white hairs are normal on some of the colors, and they need to form a patch the size of a 50 cent piece to be considered a patch. Hope this helps :)

I know my breeds of my pigs, but can you tell me the colors? The black one is Flower, a white crested, the brownish one is Lulu, and the aby is LoopsieView attachment 52267View attachment 52268View attachment 52269View attachment 52270View attachment 52271Thanks in advance!

Flower is a really really dark Golden Agouti, I'm thinking she might be darker because she's actually a Golden Solid, could you look at her belly and tell me what color the belly is? Is it red, or the same color as the rest of her?
Lulu is a Lemon Agouti, but Lemon Agouti isn't really it's own color and falls under the category of Dilute Agouti, so you could refer to her as either.
Loopsie is a really pretty TSW (Tortoiseshell and White) For her breed though, she may actually be an Abby Satin, it's always hard to tell in photo's but she has a certain kind of sheen that makes me think she might be.
Hope this helped, and a beautiful group of pigs, I can tell you take great care of them :)

Thank you for the info!!! So you think she is a silver agouti? She's not as silver as most silver's I've seen but she's not as brown as most golden agoutis either so I really wasn't sure. Here is a more recent picture so you can see her coloring. View attachment 52297View attachment 52298

I'm curious where you got her from, because she has such nice color, I would think that at some point she came from a breeder, who then gave her up because of her one white toenail that I see (which is a disqualification if the breeder were to show her.) From there she could have ended up in a pet store or shelter. Or it could just be a coincidence, just curious :) and hope this helped!

Hi @MizziMiz! Could you let me know about my latest additions? I know Lola is a Texel, probably TSW? But what about Piggy Boy Bradley?

Anyone care to do one of my piggies? :)

This is Herman, a PEW (correct?) He has the Teddy coat but with a rosette on his forehead. Would he be mixed with a Crested? Or can Teddys have rosettes on their heads?

Yes, the pig in the top pictures looks to be a Teddy/White Crested mix, for the color, he seems mostly white, but looks a little creme on the top. Because of the pink eyes though I'd go with white.

On the bottom photo, the pig on the left is Golden Agouti, Red, and White Broken for the color, and the breed is Abby.
Willow is a Lemon Agouti and White Broken, but lemon agouti isn't really its own variety, it falls under the category of Dilute Agouti. So you could call it either Lemon or Dilute. Hope this is helpful :)

Flower is all that black salt and peppery color. Her belly doesnt have the brown tips though.

Unfortunately this is probably the clearest pictures of the boys (this was the picture the shelter took).

You can't really tell how fluffy Goliath (left) is in this either...

I know Piccolo (Right) is an American Shorthair.

Could you tell me their colors and potentially Goliath's breed if you can tell from what you see?

I got her from a woman on craigslist who purchased her as a baby at petsmart and couldn't keep her. That's all I know about her history. Thank you so much for your help!!!

Ok, then she would be a Silver Solid instead of Silver Agouti

Yes of course :) I LOVE the name Goliath, he looks to me to either be a Silkie/American mix, or a Silkie who has his hair clipped. For the variety, they are both Red and White brokens.

I would say they're both just Abby's (even if one has less rosettes than the other.) Though Rascal's fur looks a bit long, and since he looks like a baby, he may grow into a Peruvian. Baby Abbys and Peruvians look pretty much the same, but the Peruvians hair grows out. For the color, Rascal is a Creme and Chocolate Broken. Maxwell also looks like a Creme and Chocolate broken, but I can't tell if the white on his face is white, or the shine from the camera. Let me know, and hope this helps :)

Glad to help :) For the breed, your piggy is a White Crested, but the varieties a little tuff. It's nice, and really fun to know the variety of your guinea regardless, but the main purpose of them is for cavies that show, but since mostly everyone on this forum are against that, it's ok to bend the rules of the varieties a bit. The variety is a Red Dutch, but in a show setting, there is no such thing as a Red dutch White Crested since White Crested's can't have white anywhere else on their body but the crest. Though as a pet owner, I would just stick to a Red Dutch White Crested.

Thanks so much! Max does have that white strip down his nose and then tan cream color sides on his face and rascal has one tiny patch of white under his chin then cream tan on one half of his face as the other side is black! There both from the same litter and are about 2 1/2 months old!
