I didn't post this in the medical section, because he's thankfully acting perfectly fine. But I'm a little worried and want to make sure he'll continue to be ok.
I have (had) one of those "edible log" tunnels for Robin Hood, because he likes to lay on top of it and play with it. I know they're not good for them to eat, but he's only ever chewed on it slightly ( really just scraped the coloring off here and there ). Until today: this morning I woke up to a fairly large amount of the log eaten! I don't know why he did this out of the blue.
He's acting completely normal and himself, though. He's been eating hay all morning, ate his morning lettuce and bell pepper, been pooping normal poops and normal amounts, is very active, etc.
I just want to make sure this isn't serious, and I want to know if there's any other problems/signs I should watch for.
Here's how much log is missing:
To say the least it's no longer in the cage, and I think he definitely ate it because I can't find any of the pieces.
