Keeping an Eye on S'mores :)

S'mores today, she still looks as beautiful as ever! I'd like some ideas as to how many she may have? She's approx 7 weeks in and I can definitely feel 2

It is usually hard to tell how many babies will be there. Even size cannot really tell. The only way is an ultrasound, but you probably don't need to waste money on that unless she is having problems.
I would say two to maybe four? Just a guess. Hope the delivery goes well! Keep us updated!

My piggie might be pregnant to and looks exactly like S'mores size wise. We think she's about 4 weeks in maybe 5. Any suggestions? And S'mores is really cute @Guineas Galore

you can't really tell how many babies she will have until she has them or you get an ultrasound. Make sure your cage is baby proofed and that your piggie is eating lots of veggies and has some good sources of calcium and vitamin C and has an unlimited supply of water and hay. Try not to pick her up too often, so that if she is pregnant you don't cause her discomfort.

Sitting normally

I'm not game to bathe her as I don't want to cause stress, but she's quite mucky XD

I wouldn't bathe her, she's probably pretty uncomfortable right now. She looks like she has saddle bags. I'd say she's having 2 or 3 pups.

@Rywen Yeah, I agree. When my first guinea pig had her accidental litter I didn't bathe her until a couple of weeks after she gave birth cause I didn't want to confuse the pups XD

Where are the pelvic bones? I don't really know where to feel... XD

The pelvic bones are located directly above S'more's genitalia.

UPDATE: Her sister, Cadence, only has one baby... XD

UPDATE!!!!: S'mores' pelvic bones have widened and I can nearly fit finger in between! I couldn't yesterday...so I set up the nursery and she is in my room with her sister. I've shot a vid of them and will be uploading for all of you shortly!

She also keeps scaring me by reaching down to grab her poops...I keep thinking it's time and freak out XD
