We have had two boars, Grant and Edward, in the same cage for a couple years. They have two water bottles, two food dishes, etc, but Grant has very recently developed an odd shape to his incisors. Where the teeth should meet in a flat shape, instead they meet at an angle. The lower teeth are shaped /|, and the upper teeth meet with the first |/.

Could Edward be causing the Grant to have this issue? Both act otherwise perfectly fine, Grant at the moment is happily eating a carrot, but sometimes the two steal stuff from each other.

Edward has absolutely nothing to do with the shape of Grant's teeth.

Can you take a picture of the teeth and post them?

Problems with the incisors are most often due to problems with the molars. Common molar issues include injury, overgrowth of the teeth which then trap the tongue, broken teeth, abscesses, or elongated roots. Some are easily treatable, some not.

Do weigh Grant regularly to make sure he's getting enough to eat, and pay particular attention to whether he's drooling or dropping food.

This is his teeth, didn't feel any issues from the molars, I don't think. Also the coloration is because he just ate some of a carrot.

Molars.

You need an exotic vet with rodent dentistry experience, and he needs to take skull x-rays, particularly side views. He could have a sore spot in his mouth that's making him chew crooked. But it won't get better on its own.

Ditto @bpatters. That's definitely malocclusion of the molars.

He absolutely needs a cavy experiened vet to treat the problem, and this looks like it's been ongoing. Don't wait to get him in, it can become serious in big way pretty fast.
