Nala seems to like the apple juice enhanced medication. The vet was a little rough with her, however, she was acting like a…lioness...

With the Baytril, I would watch their appetites. My 2 girls are being treated for URI's as well. After a few days, both their appetites almost completely tanked. They were hardly eating anything. I did a bit of internet sleuthing to discover that happens sometimes. So, I called the vet up (she verified that yep, sometimes that does happen..it can be upsetting to some piggy tummies) and we're trying a different antibiotic now. Hopefully, your piggy doesn't have that problem and all goes according to plan. Good luck!

Pigs on antibiotics need probiotics given an hour or so before or after the antibiotics. You can use plain human acidophilus or kyodophilus tablets or capsules, or you may be able to get BeneBac at a pet store. That will help keep her from losing her appetite and keep you from possibly having to hand feed her.
