I plan on building a one grid bunk bed in the corner of my cage. The problem is that with the layout of my cage, I need to be able to completely remove the bunk bed for cleaning. I'm hoping to find some type of alternative to zip ties so that I can secure it to the corner of my cage and then remove it for cleaning. Any ideas?

You can buy all sorts of clips at hardware stores.

It involved cutting and filing down a grid, which my boyfriend helped me with but it was still a pain! Basically, I set a grid in the corner resting on the 6" tall coroplast wall. I secured it with a couple of binder clips to make sure it didn't fall. Then, we cut a couple of small pieces of grids to form a pillar to hold it up in the front. That way, the bunk bed is accessible from two sides instead of one and my pigs won't trap each other in the corner. I put down a layer of cardboard and a homemade potty pad on the top bunk but will be replacing the cardboard with coroplast this weekend. I also built a ramp to help them get up, but they really haven't used the ramp at all. These little fatties are more agile than I thought!

I will take a picture of it when I get home. I swear it'll make more sense when you see it :p

Not the best pictures but I think it shows it well enough. I also put plastic edges around the pillar because even though I filed it down, it was just a tiny bit rough still.
