Joy I found a Himi on Petfinder!

So I check petfinder every once and a while and wouldn't you know it I found a lovely Himalayan boy who's available in Iowa! I have a soft spot for himis since my cat, who's a rescue, is siamese and if I didn't already have two girls I would totally snap him up in a heartbeat. As things stand I thought I'd give the cutie some free advertising and hopefully someone on here can give him a great home!

Omgosh! I'm in Iowa too! I would take him if I hadn't just taken in my friends male that was supposed to be a female!! I've got three boars already and two girls

Have him neutered and introduce him to your girls.

I don't have the financial resources to pay for a neuter right now, but if he's still available when I start my new job in a few months I'll definitely be looking into it.

He is beautiful! I have a rescue Himalayan male as well. His name is Happy. He has a back end half with this swirl of white satiny hair with some rosettes. I will spread the word...I live in Iowa as well!

neutering isn't that risky. it's more risky to have spays done

Any surgery comes with a risk. However, with a competent vet most guinea pigs do very well with a neuter surgery.

Awwww. He's adorable. I live in Illinois and would travel a little ways to pick up a pig but I really need to adopt a girl!
