Before I start the introduction I want to be super sure this is a male. I got a regular view and then I spread it apart to see if the penis protrudes as the article told me but I still feel unsure.

Could you clean him/her up and take another photo? Also without holding your fingers there, so I can see if there's a scrotum?

is there another thread this relates to? I feel like I'm missing some info, like how old.

I did post about him regarding other questions, my apology. He is 6 weeks old today. I just got him and am about to clean him up so will post another pic soon. Is this a good angle? Is it best to spread it open or leave in place? So you can help tell easier.

To be really honest it looks female to me, but that could just be the way you're holding it.

Ok. I used some coconut oil to clean up and tried more pics. This is from underneath (see the bottom of the feet)

Same viewpoint but holding him slightly different:

That's what I'm thinking too and I was really hoping I was wrong! I haven't started any intros yet (thank goodness). But I already love this little one and have caused it stress by bringing it here. I'm gonna have to figure this out.

Any chance she would let you try the father? Then she could keep the girl with it's Mom.

She might knowing this. But she may have already fixed one of hers. She wanted to keep her original pair and was gonna get one fixed. She had two babies, she was told this was the boy and the other a girl. She had found a home for the other but they didn't follow thru so it's still there. I'm gonna take this one back and look at the other baby just in case but I doubt it. I suppose getting Brownie (my boy) or a baby girl fixed is an option but I hate the thought of surgery. I wasn't keen on her doing it to hers but I guess it's ok. People seem to do it here too (on the forum). My dogs are fixed of course and I didn't hesitate there but GPigs are so small. I just really wanted this to work out [emoji853]

Good news! I returned Junior(ette) to my sister so she could be back with the familiar home. Not exactly sure what my sister is gonna do (keep her or find a home) but the other baby that she had planned to give away to someone else she still had. I swear she told me it was a girl but it's a boy for sure! I looked and tested the penis and it protruded for sure. So I brought him home! I'm 1000% sure this one is a boy and Junior was really a girl now! This baby is so cute too! I don't know what my sis is gonna do now about which to keep herself but for now things seem to be working out.

Glad to hear the other one is a boy. Hopefully everything works out for Junior too!

Ya. I was so happy to find out the other was still available but I am concerned now because my sister said she was told they were both boys, from a vet so after they were 3 weeks old she moved them into the cage with dad. Then she was gonna give them away and get her mom or dad fixed so they could be together again. I really hope that Junior isn't pregnant or something. She may end up keeping Junior and mom now? Who knows. I wish she had told me she was getting GPigs before she did so I could've warned her about this happening (she got the from a pet store I think).

The other option for her would be to still get dad neutered and then keep all three, but she would need a larger cage for three then just two. I hope junior isn't pregnant, she certainly is old enough to have gotten pregnant but there is a chance she might not be, only time will tell.

I have told her about the need for a larger cage and I hope she will listen if she does keep all 3. Last time I spoke to her she actually said she was wanting to do just that. She started this adventure like so many, with a small store bought cage. I gave her my old Midwest and she's had to use both through all this so as things settle I'm hoping to convincer her to build a proper C&C. I can only do so much to influence though. If I can get her to agree, I will even offer to help buy supplies and build it.
